Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using the TriptapeSIM mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

TriptapeSIM is a travel eSIM reseller platform that allows users to purchase and activate digital SIM cards (eSIMs) for international data connectivity. We act as a reseller and distribute eSIM plans sourced from third-party eSIM network providers. We do not operate our own mobile network.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use TriptapeSIM.
• You must have a device that supports eSIM technology (eSIM-compatible smartphone or tablet).
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• One account per individual is permitted. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions or referral programs is prohibited.

To purchase eSIMs, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at support@triptapesim.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

5.1 Plan Availability

eSIM plans are subject to availability and may vary by country, region, data allowance, and validity period. Plan details (coverage, speed, data cap) are provided by our eSIM network partners and are subject to change without notice.

5.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹ INR). Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the final price for that transaction.

5.3 Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed only after successful payment processing. Upon confirmation, you will receive eSIM activation details (QR code or manual configuration) via the app. Please install your eSIM promptly, as some plans have a limited activation window.

5.4 eSIM Compatibility

It is your responsibility to verify that your device is eSIM-compatible and unlocked before purchasing. TriptapeSIM is not responsible for eSIMs that cannot be installed due to device incompatibility or carrier lock.

6.1 Payment Methods

We accept payments via UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and other methods available through our payment gateway partner (PayU). All payments are processed securely. We do not store your full card details.

6.2 Wallet

TriptapeSIM offers an in-app wallet (in INR). Wallet credits may be added via top-up and used toward eSIM purchases. Wallet credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.

6.3 Failed Transactions

If a payment is deducted but your order is not confirmed, please contact support at support@triptapesim.com within 7 days. We will investigate and either fulfill the order or initiate a refund.

• Not Yet Installed: If you have purchased an eSIM but have not installed/scanned it, you may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase.
• Already Installed: Once an eSIM is installed and activated, refunds are not available as the plan has been provisioned with the network provider.
• Technical Issues: If an eSIM fails to activate due to a technical error on our side, we will provide a replacement eSIM or full refund.
• Coverage Issues: We are not responsible for coverage limitations in specific areas as this depends on the underlying network provider's infrastructure.

Refund requests are reviewed within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method or TriptapeSIM wallet.

TriptapeSIM offers a loyalty points program and referral rewards at our discretion. Points and referral bonuses:

• Have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
• May expire if your account is inactive for more than 12 months.
• May be modified or discontinued by us at any time with reasonable notice.
• Cannot be earned through fraudulent activity or self-referrals.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Share, resell, or redistribute purchased eSIMs without our express written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack any part of the app.
• Use bots or automated systems to place orders or abuse promotions.
• Provide false information during registration or checkout.
• Use a purchased eSIM in any country where it is not authorised for use under the plan terms.

All content in the TriptapeSIM app — including the logo, design, text, graphics, and software — is the property of TriptapeSIM or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

The app and all eSIM services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
• eSIM data speeds or coverage will meet your expectations in all locations.
• The app will be compatible with all devices or operating systems.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TriptapeSIM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or eSIM services, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or connectivity while travelling.
• Costs incurred due to roaming charges on your primary SIM.
• Any loss arising from network outages by the underlying eSIM provider.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

TriptapeSIM integrates with third-party services including payment gateways, eSIM network providers, Firebase, and Supabase. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or failures of third-party services.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in fraudulent activity.
• Abuse our support, referral, or loyalty systems.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@triptapesim.com. Unused wallet credits will be forfeited upon account deletion.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@triptapesim.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
